Wrapping up my Vancouver Island Ramble on my last week on the Island, resting up before boarding The Canadian train back east and home to Ontario. It's been a fantastic bunch of weeks here out west, reflecting in nature, making music, playing some fun shows and reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Check out a few photos below!

Allison Brown’s sweet, powerful singing offers a captivating invitation to follow her down lonesome railroad lines, into abandoned buildings, back in time, to high above the stratosphere as she illustrates landscapes both strange and familiar with her newest collection of songs.

Allison’s voice is experiencing an intense new elasticity as her instrument’s distinct tune and tone evolve with over twenty years of performance experience. Her endless repertoire of roots music matched with crafted originals create an unmistakable spark as she brings her truest personality to the stage in a refreshing conversation with the audience.

In concert, Allison often brings along longtime tourmate, Uncle Dan Henshall; expertly tearing through mandolin accents and solos. Uncle Dan is a prominent player as part of Allison's four-piece acoustic backing band The Assembly Line, which features Jedd House on upright bass, with guest musicians on violin, harmonica and more to showcase the full dynamic of Allison's songs and stories in a concert environment.
